The Edinburgh Transplant Centre is a multidisciplinary service with the aim of supporting the people in Scotland who require a transplant.

The Centre currently carries out liver, kidney, pancreas, and islet transplants.

Service Update

Due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, some of our services have been temporarily suspended or limited for the time being.

The Clinical Director of the Edinburgh Transplant Centre has written this Service Update letter to keep you informed of changes to transplant activity.

I spoke to Mr Onescue today when l was at the clinic we spoke about the support groups that run all over Scotland l myself received a liver in February in Edinburgh l attend both the Edinburgh and forth valley groups and we recently made a short video about the groups which can be viewed on the British liver Trust website and on the groups Facebook page l recently started doing peer support in ward 206 which l enjoy l am in the ward on a Thursday afternoon l would like to offer my services to you in helping in setting up your web page l have been trained in making these short videos and l have access to the equipment required to make these please do not hesitate to contact me if you think l could help in any way John
